Greetings and salutations! This past weekend, my wife and I attended Midwest FurFest. It was her first furry con ever, my second, and by far the biggest con either of us has ever attended. Seriously, I don’t know the final attendance numbers, but with 10,000 preregistered, ‘huge’ is a fair estimate. I want to officially thank the furry fandom in general and the folks at MFF (staff, volunteers, and attendees alike) for making my wife’s first immersion in the fandom a wonderful and thoroughly enjoyable experience. So, not only did I violate the order of the universe by getting married, my wife and I will be attending Midwest FurFest in... just over three weeks!  How did this happen?  Heck if I know, but I'm rolling with it.  My first furry con in... a couple decades, wow.  I'm so far out of the loop it looks like a line from here. Be gentle, MFF...

So the wedding day has come and gone, and I am now a married man.  And somehow the universe has not stopped spinning.  I guess the impossible isn't as shocking as it used to be. The wedding was positively delightful, largely thanks to the friends and family who helped make it so.  These people are officially my Big Damn Heroes. There's not much more to say, really.  I have a wonderful wife now, everything has changed, and nothing has changed. Just wanted to share that we really did follow through with it.  And there was much rejoicing!
