Trained attack spleen

Mon Nov 24, 2008, 5:11 PM
So, here it is, more than a year since my last journal update, and longer than that since I drew anything worth keeping. Wow. Time not only flies, it has warp drive. There's only one thing to do: digress into pointless wierd humor. And what better than pointless wierd humor that's based on real life?

I have pet mice; presently two cuties named Buffy (creamsicle colored) & Zoe (grey and white). Their favorite treat every day is baby goldfish crackers. When I rattle the container, two little mouse noses stick through the bars with "gimme! gimme! gimme!" expressions. Recently, my girlfriend commented that if I didn't hurry up and give her the cracker, Buffy would send her spleen out through her nose to get it. (This is the kind of thing that pops into her mind). So I replied "You know, some people would pay good money for a trained attack spleen." (This is the kind of thing that pops into MY mind). That's when I broke her. It took at least five minutes before she could breathe enough to say anything else. So of course, anything that makes her laugh that much has to be inflicted upon the innocent. There you go.

Hopefully it won't take me another year to say, write or draw anything else. Until then, I'll be lurking away, looking at the cool pictures.

Good luck surviving the holidays!

Arg, how rude of me! I can't believe I wasn't watching you earlier. I thought I was...

Well, anyway, after I reply to all my messages, I defiantly look forward to seeing your works!

I keep meaning to, but you know how that tune goes.

Um, cross-breed? Za? Not quite sure how you mean. Robyn's just a foxtaur (like a centaur except the bottom half is fox and the top half is anthro fox). Of course, I'm working on minimal sleep and insufficient caffeine right now, so I'm not quick on the uptake.

At any rate, I do plan to draw more about Robyn. Sometime...

Oh! My mistake my friend. I'm still a little new to anthros, and a thought that a Centaur and another anthro was considered a crossbreed, heh heh.

No worries. I'm easily confused, myself. For future info, a (something)-taur is usually the top half anthro and the bottom half quadruped of the same critter. Cattaur, foxtaur, wolftaur, bunnytaur, whatever. Of course, there are as many definitions as there are fans, so... :)

No worries! It's not like I post anything to watch, anyway. :) Two years now....

Well, maybe you can try to draw again? I'd love to see more of Robyn (That's the first cross-breed anthro I've ever seen, after Kaze's Pastilla!)
